Everyone,

Meet Bunny.  Aka, babygirl.  She’s the Queen of her Kingdom!  Due to bad weather, I was stuck around the house this weekend (except for an exciting Saturday night at the Velvet Room – which is off the chain!) so I thought I should take some pictures of my “babies.”  I have a cat (Bunny) and a rabbit named Lola after the Kinks one hit wonder song.  I didn’t know if she was a boy or girl so I thought this would be fitting.  However, I decided to only put up a couple pics of Bunny for now.

That is her, in all her glory.  Hopefully in the next weekend or so I’ll get to go on a road trip to the Okefenokee Swamp.  Who knows what will be lurking around there and I can’t wait to fill up the memory card.

Until next time,

Lindsey

Hi all,

The plans are underway.  I have 3 vacations in the works for this summer and I can’t wait!!  There is nothing I love more than traveling and two out of the three locations will be brand new so I get to explore all over and take lots of wonderful pictures.  I’ll give you a hint of the future destinations… margaritas, beautiful people & white sand.  It’s very broad but once I know that I’m doing all three for sure I’ll let you in on the locations.  And the pictures will not be far behind.  ;)

Well, it is a Saturday and I’m letting what little bit of sun is out escape sitting in here so I am out!  I will be back soon (hopefully this weekend) with a new gallery update.  Check back soon for more.

See ya,

Lindsey

The moon was glowing beautifully the other night so I decided to “attempt” to take pictures of it.  Whoa, did they ever come out… strange?  I guess would be the most choice terminology here.  Night time shots seem to be tricky, especially when there’s a blue light that keeps following the moon.  ?  It seems to be a mirror image of the moon.  Not sure what went on there but it looks cool anyway!  If anyone is familiar w/ Nikon settings, could you please tell me what this could be?  I played around with several options but they’re still not up to par, obviously.  Minus that eerie blue glow… I had to get the trees in alot of the pictures so the camera had something to focus on.  I’m sure there’s a way, just gotta find it.  Anyhow, here they are.  Maybe next time the moon peeks out I will have this down.  Thanks for visiting and have a nice evening.

Here they are, the long awaited snake pics!  Keep in mind, these were taken w/ my cell and they are super blurry.  It’s just a lil’ something to show just how far I am willing to go to get a awesome picture.  Haha, yea right!  I stood faaaaarrrrr away from those guys and that’s probably why the picture is so blurry.  Lots of zooming and photoshop helped give you at least an outline of these slithery devils.  Enjoy!

or her…

Super yuck.

We can all rest assured, I survived the snake altercation to tell the tale and show the pics.  Btw…these fellows were hanging out at a local park, within viewing distance of the walking path.  Remember kids, watch where you step!

Good night,

Lindsey

Hello all,

I came home from work today to find this little guy creeping along the door frame.  He’s very colorful and even though weird & disgusting, he’s still kinda interesting to look at.  We chilled for a couple of minutes, he got his five minutes of fame and then we put him back in the woods.  You don’t gotta go home but you gotta get the hell up outta here!!

Adios my friend!  Thanks for the shots.

Good evening,

You now have the pleasure of viewing the newest edition, Stone Mountain part 2 under the galleries section and my new blog. A co-worker showed me the different templates on wordpress vs. blogger.com and I was impressed.  So I made the switch… thank goodness I hadn’t gotten very far in my old blog, only 3 entries.  So the switch is pain free.  I decided to spend an entire day with just me and the camera. I hiked the mountain and took some shots from the top and as I was ascending. It was a beautiful, sunny day but the wind was kinda strong. It did make for great photography because there weren’t many people out that day. They even closed the lift due to high winds. All in all, they aren’t too bad. Please check them out!

Have a lovely afternoon everyone…

Lindsey

p.s. I got a couple shots of some snakes at the park – the pics were taken on my cell phone but hey, they’re snake pictures. I risked my life to get them!! <— such an over exaggerator! But I still need to get them off my phone and tomorrow, I will do just that.  Maybe I’ll go back w/ the Nikon sometime this weekend and try to catch some decent pics of them.  I feel like the Crocodile Hunter.  Eh Mate!  G’ night all.
