Hello all,

I had a lovely day today, I visited the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and this place is a gorgeous location (perfect for weddings) set on the back side of Piedmont Park.  It’s not a huge area but has several gardens with different types of plants from several locations around the World.  It also features a couple of huge green house type areas where the temperature can be controlled.  A few rooms feature a.c. which is extremely nice, especially when these GA temps can hit 90 degrees around 1 pm.    There’s also a few rooms that replicate dessert and hot, humid jungle temps so beware.  Bring water and try to go early to avoid the worst heat.  There’s statues and moving structures around the grounds.  I enjoyed the balls that would move on a silver platter when you made noise.  A little girl kept singing the entire time and the balls were moving all around the platter.
